National Credit Act Courses

Broadly, the Act aims to reduce reckless credit behavior, both by credit providers and consumers and the level of over-indebtedness in South Africa.

Occupational Health & Safety Legal Liability
Occupational health and safety (OHS) is a critical legal and business concern. Failing to comply with these requirements has the potential to cause both personal and financial disaster. OHS also has an impact on productivity, absenteeism, the reputation of the organisation and profitability. Given the importance of OHS, this short course provides an overview of the relevant overarching legal framework as well as the rationale for legal compliance. Through an examination of the relevant legislation, this course emphasises the key principles and core skills that are needed to promote OHS compliance.

Fundamentals of Financial Mathematics
This course is aimed at refreshing your 'rusty' mathematics skills, without boring you to death with things you already know. Work through the content of each unit, taking your time to understand the information. The self-assessment activities within each unit are there to assist you in checking whether you are making progress. Once you have completed a unit, complete the assessment for that unit. You need to obtain at least 60% in the assessment for each unit, to pass the unit. You have unlimited attempts to complete the assessment after each unit. To qualify for the certificate of completion, you need to complete and pass all 6 Assessments.
