Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship

An entrepreneur is someone who creates new business in the face of risk and uncertainty for the purpose of achieving profit and growth by identifying business opportunities and assembling the necessary resources, structures and procedures to capitalize on those opportunities.

Entrepreneurs are very special individuals.  The standard of living we currently enjoy was made possible by entrepreneurs.  The jobs people have only existed because of entrepreneurs.  The money government receives via taxes, stems from entrepreneurial activities.  Economic growth (better living conditions) is only possible through entrepreneurial activities.

The old statement, ‘money makes the world go round’, should actually be changed to, ‘entrepreneurship makes the world go round’.

In the past entrepreneurship development was never an area of focus, which is difficult to understand due to the utmost importance thereof.
